Coastal Collective is a community across Poole and Bournemouth, with its own platform: events, ticketed bookings and member accounts. We took over the running of the platform, made it more secure, and have been extending it ever since. The community uses it daily at coastalcollective.uk.

Coastal Collective is a real community, and it was running on a platform it had inherited, with one person holding all the keys. It needed the platform taken on: run day to day, made more secure, and built on.

We took over the running of the platform and made it more secure. That came first, before anything new was added.

We have kept extending the platform: events, ticketed bookings and member accounts. Since we took it over, nearly 300 member accounts and over 130 event bookings have gone through it. We also built a Coastal Collective app for iPhone and Android.
